Design Considerations

Our swimming pool landscape designs allow you to move seamlessly from the interior to the exterior, with the pool area functioning as a continuation of your living space.

It is for this reason that landscape architecture has to be taken seriously and every design element considered carefully in order to create that oasis.

These are a few of the vast array of design elements that should be considered;

Our design process follows six steps from beginning to end. Typically, projects follow these six phases. However, on some projects, several of these steps may be combined or there may be additional ones.

Step 1: Design Choice

Our field specialist meets with you to get a clear understanding of your requirements for the project. A site assessment is done and our field specialist documents existing site conditions in preparation for the rough design.

Step 2: Schematic Design/ Rough Design

Our design architect prepares a series of rough sketches, known as concept/ schematic design. A 3D or aerial plan will also be prepared for approval by the customer before proceeding to the next phase.

Step 3: Design Development

In this phase, the architect prepares more detailed drawings to illustrate other aspects of the proposed design. Aerial plans show correct shape and size of all proposed landscaping features.

Step 4: Preparation of Contract Documents

On design approval, our landscape architect prepares detailed drawings and specifications, which our construction team utilises to establish actual construction cost and build the project.

Step 5: Construction

Our construction crew utilises advanced construction techniques, methods and procedures to build you and your family a background oasis that you will enjoy for a long time to come.

Step 6: Project Close Out

Our project managers will ensure a seamless project hand-over, making sure all your requirements have been met. A briefing is done by one of our maintenance specialists to prepare you for some essential mantainace work.
